Sirens in the Golan, David’s Sling Anti-Missile System Fired
Red alert sirens sounded in several locations in northern Israel on Monday leading to the first-time firing of two missiles from the David’s Sling anti-missile system. The IDF reported that two rockets had been fired towards Israel as part of the internal conflict in Syria but the rockets landed inside Syria.
IDF Evacuates Syrian Civil Defense Members to Jordan
Emmanuel Nahshon, spokesman for Israel’s Foreign Ministry, on Sunday tweeted: “Upon request of the US, Canada and European states Israel has completed a humanitarian effort to rescue members of a Syrian civil organization (“ White Helmets”) and families. They were evacuated from the war zone in Southern Syria to a neighboring country.”
No Ceasefire in Sight As Gaza Border Remains Hot
An IDF drone fired at a group of terrorists launching incendiary balloons from Gaza on Monday afternoon. Shehab, a Palestinian news source, also reported that directly after the drone attack, the IDF fired at two Hamas observation posts in central Gaza.

IDF Staff Sgt. Aviv Levi was killed on Friday by sniper fire from Gaza making him the first IDF casualty on the southern border since the 2014 war.
SECURITY CABINET DECIDES IDF WILL RESPOND TO ALL KITES AND BALLOONS
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu directed the IDF after Sunday’s security cabinet meeting to “put an end to the kite terrorism.” While an Egyptian-mediated cease-fire led to an end to Hamas rocket attacks on Israel and Israeli retaliatory strikes, it did not stop the incendiary kites and balloons that caused at least six fires during the day.

The Israel Defense Forces shot down a Syrian drone that penetrated several miles into Israeli territory from Syria on Wednesday, sending fragments of the aircraft crashing to the earth south of the Sea of Galilee, the military said.
