A top Israel Defense Forces official met with his Greek and Cypriot counterparts in a crucial trilateral summit, the IDF announced on Wednesday.

Maj. Gen. Tal Kelman, head of the Strategic Planning and Cooperation Directorate, joined the summit in Athens, Greece, that featured “a series of strategic and operational briefings as well as a professional panel to discuss opportunities for expanding military cooperation to other sectors,” it said.

Israeli missiles hit targets adjacent to Quneitra in southern Syria on Wednesday, according to the official Syrian press. The missiles were launched from the Golan Heights causing physical damage but no casualties, reported the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), citing a Syrian army source. Jerusalem didn’t comment on the report.
