In Judaism we believe that no prayer goes unanswered. Sometimes, though, the answer is “no.” From the tragedy of our boys, a nation and the world united in prayer. And although we received the tragic news we hoped not to hear, our prayers ascended and helped in ways in which we cannot necessarily observe. We remember as well that prayers are never wasted if we use them to change ourselves and come closer to the Almighty.
